Agentic video editor
The agentic video editor for product demos
Paste your product's URL. The Director reads your site, writes the storyboard, cuts your real screens with voice-over and music, checks its own cut, and takes changes in a sentence. About 20 minutes, no timeline.

What is an agentic video editor?
A video editor run by an AI agent instead of by you. You give it a goal and your material, and it plans the video, uses editing tools to make it, checks the result and revises it from your feedback. A timeline editor waits for every cut. A prompt-to-video generator renders new footage. An agentic editor works on your own footage and gets it to finished.

The loop
The Director reads, plans, edits and checks its own cut
What it checks before you see a frame
- Text cut off or overlapping
- Text outside each platform's safe zone
- Contrast too low to read
- Product too small to see
- Blank or frozen frames
- Loudness and clipping
- Silences and overlapping voice
- Running over length
Cut by the Director
Real products, real screens
Each of these started from a URL. The Director captured the product's own pages, wrote the voice-over and cut them into a launch video. No stock footage, no generated screens.
For your agent
Run it from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Demo Editor has an MCP server, so the agent you already work with can hand the Director a video. In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with this URL and sign in. In Claude Code or Cursor, use a token from Settings → API & MCP.

Frequently asked
Questions about agentic video editing
What is an agentic video editor?
A video editor run by an AI agent instead of by you. You give it a goal and your material, and it plans the video, uses editing tools to make it, checks the result and revises it from your feedback. A timeline editor waits for every cut. A prompt-to-video generator renders new footage. An agentic editor works on your own footage and gets it to finished.
How is an agentic video editor different from an AI video generator?
A generator renders new pixels from a prompt, so it shows what a model imagines. An agentic editor works with what you already have. Demo Editor's Director cuts your real site and screen recordings, so the video shows your actual product. It never invents features or results your product doesn't have.
What does the Director do on its own?
It reads your site and any recording, screenshots or repo you add, writes the storyboard and voice-over, cuts the footage to the voice, adds music and sound, and checks its own cut before you see it: text cut off or overlapping, text outside each platform's safe zone, contrast too low to read, product too small to see, blank or frozen frames, loudness and clipping, silences and overlapping voice, running over length. A video takes about 20 minutes.
Do I stay in control of the edit?
Yes. You read the storyboard and the Director's notes before any frame is made. After that you change the video by asking, in a sentence or at an exact moment, and each change is a new version you can compare with the last. Rules you give it once are saved to the project's memory.
Can my own AI agent use Demo Editor?
Yes. Demo Editor has an MCP server at https://mcp.demoeditor.com/mcp. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor, and your agent can start a video from a URL, follow its progress, leave the Director a note, and make a version B or a version in another language.
Do I need to know video editing?
No. There's no timeline to learn. Paste your URL, read the storyboard, and tell the Director what to change, the way you'd brief a person.
