Features
One screen recording. Every platform, in your voice.
Record your app once. Demo Editor returns a demo video laid out for every platform, voiced in your own voice, and organized by product or client.
Formats
Resize your demo video for every platform
Tick where you'll post the demo video and the same video comes back for each destination, at that platform's aspect ratio. It's not a crop with black bars. When a frame can be cut from the middle of your video at full size, it is. When it can't, the Director lays the shot out again for that frame, and keeps text clear of the app's buttons and caption.
You choose the video's main shape, portrait, square or landscape. Every other frame comes from it.
Voice
AI voice-over in your own voice
An AI voice-over for your product demo, in a voice that sounds like you. The Director writes the voice-over from your recording and cuts your footage to it, in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish, Portuguese, French or German.

Frequently asked
Questions about formats, voice and teams
What size should a TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts video be?
Vertical 9:16. Demo Editor outputs TikTok at 9:16 (1080 × 1920), Instagram Reels at 9:16 (1080 × 1920) and YouTube Shorts at 9:16 (1080 × 1920), and keeps text clear of each app's buttons and caption.
What aspect ratio should a demo video be for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn and X?
Demo Editor outputs TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts at 9:16 (1080 × 1920), LinkedIn at 4:5 (1080 × 1350), X, Threads and Reddit at 1:1 (1080 × 1080), and a website or ad at 16:9 (1920 × 1080). Tick the places you will post and each gets its own file.
Can I turn one screen recording into 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 versions?
Yes. Record once, choose the destinations, and the same demo video comes back as one file per frame: 16:9 (1920 × 1080) for your site, 1:1 (1080 × 1080) for X, and 9:16 (1080 × 1920) for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You pick the video's main shape (portrait, square or landscape), and the other frames are cut from it or laid out again.
How do I resize a demo video without cropping out the important part?
Have each frame laid out again instead of cropped. Demo Editor cuts from the middle of the video only when that fits the new frame at full size. When it doesn't, the Director re-lays the shot for that frame, and every cut is checked for text outside each platform's safe zone.
Can AI add a voice-over to my screen recording?
Yes. The Director writes the voice-over for your demo video, speaks it in an AI voice, and cuts your real footage to it. Use a built-in voice or your own custom voice. Voice-over comes in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish, Portuguese, French or German.
Can I clone my own voice for the voice-over?
Yes, on the Max and Ultra packs. Upload a recording of one person speaking (one to two minutes is enough, up to 10 MB), tick the consent box, and the voice is available for your videos. Max includes 1 custom voice, Ultra 2. You can also describe a voice in words and pick one of three takes.
Do I need to write a script first?
No. The Director writes the storyboard and the voice-over from what it sees in your recording and your site, and you read the storyboard before any frame is made. Each shot runs as long as its line of voice, so the footage follows the voice instead of you lining them up by hand. To change a line, ask for it in a sentence.
Do I need permission to clone a voice?
Yes, it has to be your voice or the speaker has to agree. Demo Editor won't clone a voice until you tick a box saying it is your voice, or that you have the speaker's permission to clone it and use it in your videos.
Can I manage demo videos for several products or clients in one account?
Yes. One organization holds many projects, so each product or client gets its own project and videos. People join as owner, admin or member, and an invite link can limit a member to specific projects. Video packs are bought for the organization.
